Joanie has been teaching and practicing  yoga for the past 9 years. She has 1000s of hours of teaching, and multiple trainings creating her unique and diverse  style of teaching. Joanie is a certified in Hatha Yoga, vinyasana, YIN,  and restorative yoga. Recently taking the CORE training for interval cycle training.  She studied with Btu, an Iyengar trained hatha yoga teacher in Northern India for two months. HIs teachings taught her that “every class you teach will be different, as is every moment, student, and time of day, it all changes.” After 9 years of study and practice she aims to tailor every class knowing her students needs, goals, abilities and yoga experience. Her meditation discipline is in the Vipassana style. She sat her first 10-day silent sit in 2011. Joanie knows first hand that the practice of asana (poses) with meditation can benefit anyone’s life. 30/30® Cycle has brought a new fresh element of fun and enjoyment to her life.

Joanie "Chapple"( get it!!) is part owner of The Yoga Chapple with her twin Sister Claire. 




Claire has been practicing yoga for more then 10 years. Travel,  love of literature and art has shaped who she is and this shows through her style of teaching. A recent graduate of Brad Seftels YTT in Dec 2017, she is super grateful to be surrounded by some of the best yoga teachers in Stratford to learn and grow from. Her interest in advertising and sales makes her the strong second half to The Yoga Chapple.

Come and be restored with her Tuesday and Friday nights at 730. And on Sunday for our super restore (75min) at 7. Her take on slow gentlel movement mixed with propped up restorative poses keeps the body working just enough to let go into ease. 



Lisa  has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, teaching yoga and meditation for the past 13 years. Lisa has been a part of the EatFit Project for three years, travelling to northern Canada and Ontario teaching native and Inuit children yoga and meditation techniques. Lisa has had the privilege to return to Cape Dorset and Pangnirtung, Nunavut to reconnect with the children there, to help continue their practice. Lisa teaches yoga and meditation at primary and elementary schools on a weekly basis, also specializing in working with adolescents suffering from depression, high anxiety levels, and specific medical conditions. Lisa is the Manager of a Cancer support centre in Stratford, who also teaches meditation and yoga techniques to those who are living with cancer. Surrounded by energy workers in her life, she became a reiki practitioner. This combination makes her style of teaching "out of this world".

Her classes are on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:15am where she weaves yoga and Reiki beautifully together. 






Brad has been teaching Yoga and Movement for close to 20 years. This experience with his knowledge of the body creates his unique teaching style. Brad started practicing yoga in 2003 and was quickly  aware of its transformative power. Since then he has practiced multiple Yoga disciplines. In 2005 he received a Teacher Training Certificate in Ashtanga Yoga from The Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto and began his teaching practice. In 2006, Brad expanded his Yoga world and began to practice Restorative Yoga. Studying under the tutelage of Judith Lasater in Edmonton, Alberta, he achieved a Restorative Yoga Certification in 2006. Brad met his biggest influence, Hart Lazer. during his first Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). Brad would later spend four years studying with Hart. This experience provided Brad with a strong foundation in the alignment principals of Iyengar Yoga and the deeper psychological aspects of asana.
